Holiday Playdoh- Gluten free

If you’re looking for a fun, allergy-friendly holiday activity, gluten-free playdough is honestly a game changer. It’s super easy to make, smells amazing, and stays soft forever—my first batch was made six months ago and it’s still perfectly squishy.

Each batch makes about two cups of playdough, and I made two batches: one peppermint-scented and one gingerbread-scented. They were instant fun!

If you want to mix things up, try orange-clove for a cozy citrus vibe, vanilla-mint for something sweet and cool. And of course, you can match the scents with festive colors—peppermint red, gingerbread brown, snowy white, pine green… whatever makes it feel fun and seasonal.

This gluten-free version is perfect for families with allergies, and it comes together in just a few minutes. Once you make it, you’ll wonder why you ever bought the store-bought stuff!

To make peppermint scented, I added pink food coloring and 1/2 tsp of peppermint extract. For the gingerbread scent, I sprinkled in some ground ginger, cinnamon, and all spice.

Enjoy!
