Funny Cake

I had never heard of “Funny Cake” until a couple of months ago. It’s not something we eat here in the south (yet!) But one of you mentioned you’d love to make an allergy friendly version so your kids could try one of your childhood favorites and I took the challenge!

Funny cake has its roots in Pennsylvania and it’s a funny cake- cross between a pie and a cake and the “frosting” is on the bottom. It is unique but so delicious!
