Easy Crockpot Cube Steaks

I made this the other day and it was easy and so good!

You can make your own gravy or use a premade one. I'll link my favorite below!

Ingredients: Beef Stock, Modified Corn Starch, Potato Starch, Salt, Rice Flour, Yeast Extract, Caramel Color, Onion Powder, Cooked Vegetable Stock (Celery, Carrot, Onion), Natural Flavor & Spices and Herbs (Black Pepper, Bay Leaf, Thyme).

Recipe:

Ingredients:

2 lbs of Beef Cube Steaks

1/4 c oil

1 c gluten free flour

1/2 tsp each of salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder or favorite seasonings!

2 c Beef stock (If making your own gravy. If using pre-made- omit this.)

1 white onion, sliced

To make- do this before putting in the crockpot. (You can add the meat directly to the crockpot, but I highly recommend this step first!)

In a small bowl mix seasonings into the flour.

Add the oil to a skillet on the stove and heat over medium heat.

Place each steak in the seasoned flour and lightly coat. Brown in batches in the hot oil. You do not need to cook the meat all the way through, just brown the outside. Once the outside if brown, place each piece in the crockpot.

Top with gravy and onions. Place lid on crockpot and cook on low for 4 hours. This is delicious served with rice!

Hack- Make the rice alongside this in a RICE COOKER. This is SO helpful!

If making your own gravy, add 2 Tbsp flour to the skillet after you finish browning the steaks. Whisk into the pan drippings and cook about a minute. Then add the beef stock and whisk to combine and thickened. Pour over the top of the cubed steak.
