3-Minute Muffin Hack (Because Toddlers Don’t Wait)
Mornings can be crazy around here. I guess that’s what happens when you have a lot of kids. If you’ve ever had a toddler meltdown because they want a muffin NOW (been there 🙃), this little hack is about to save you.
I’ve been using a Go Nana’s mix to make single-serve muffins in the microwave in just 3 minutes. It’s warm, fluffy, and legit tastes oven-baked—but you don’t have to preheat anything or clean a million bowls.
Perfect for:
✔️ Busy mornings
✔️ Quick snacks
✔️ Emergency “I’m hungryyyyy!” moments
Honestly, it’s also great when you just want one treat for yourself with coffee.

How to Make the 3-Minute Go Nana’s Mug Muffin
Here’s how to make this quick single-serve muffin that’s perfect for busy mornings (or toddler emergencies!)
You’ll need:
• ½ cup Go Nana’s mix (I used their Original Banana Bread mix)
• 2 tablespoons applesauce
• 2 tablespoons non-dairy milk
Instructions:
1️⃣ Spray and grease a large mug well.
2️⃣ In a small bowl, mix the Go Nana’s mix, applesauce, and non-dairy milk until smooth.
3️⃣ Pour the batter into the prepared mug.
4️⃣ Microwave for about 2 minutes. The muffin should look set and pull away from the sides of the mug. If it’s still wet in the middle, cook it in 10–15 second bursts until done.
5️⃣ Carefully run a knife around the edges to loosen it. You may need a spoon to loosen the bottom as well.
6️⃣ Invert onto a plate (or eat it right from the mug!) and enjoy warm.
I used the Go Nana’s Original Banana Bread mix for this hack. Want to try it? Visit the Go Nana’s website and use code ALLERGYFREE to save 10% on your order!
I also tried the fudge brownie version and it was… amazing. The mix with chocolate was definitely more moist and fell apart a little more… so if you opt to use a mix with chocolate you may want to just eat it out of the mug!

I hope this little hack makes your mornings (or snack times) a lot easier. It’s seriously become a go-to in our house for those “I need it NOW” muffin cravings—especially with little ones around.
If you give it a try, let me know how it turns out! And don’t forget, you can grab the Go Nana’s mix I used (or any of their other flavors) on their website—use the code ALLERGYFREE for 10% off.
