These are so easy to make ahead and heat up for breakfast. I love this recipe because it isn't as greasy as traditional sausage balls.
I made a large batch this week with the following: 2 lbs of sausage (1 lbs of turkey sausage and 1 lb of pork sausage), 1 box of gluten free Bisquick, 1/2 bag of shredded vegan cheese, and 1 block of vegan cream cheese. I mixed it well (don't be afraid to use your hands) and baked at 350 until crispy! It made a giant batch- two sheet pans full.
If you need a pancake mix from a nut free facility, Namaste is a good brand.
