Chocolate Cream Pie

This is my go to recipe for potlucks and holidays. It’s easy to make ahead and EVERYONE loves it. No one ever even suspects it’s allergy free- and always ask for the recipe!


I usually use a premade crust (Wholly Gluten free pie crust is my favorite!)


If you don’t want to use a frozen whipped topping, you can whip up your own with this recipe: 1 1/2 c dairy free heavy whipping cream + 3/4 c powdered sugar + splash of vanilla. (Whip until it’s firm)


I love to top mine with crushed gluten free Oreos, but there are so many variations! You could make it a mint pie by adding 1/2 tsp mint extract to the chocolate batter and topping it with crushed candy canes.


You could also make it chocolate mocha flavored by adding a little espresso powder to the chocolate mixture.
